PAIR of ANTIQUE ILLINOIS GLASS AMBER BOTTLES ONE CHAS. DENNEHY & CO CHICAGO
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
- Pair of old Illinois Glass amber whiskey bottles from the turn of the 20th century; bottles were found around 10 years ago at a Chicago west-suburban Estate Sale
- Each approximately 9 inches high; bases approximately 4-1/4" X 2-3/4"
- Bottoms show the familiar Illinois Glass "I in Diamond" mold mark. One bottle is embossed with the Chas. Dennehy Co name and Chicago
- An amazing website containing a "reprint" of a 1906 Illinois Glass Company catalogue indicates that these bottles were known as:
#312, 16 oz. Amber Flat Whiskey Bottles. The catalogue entry does indeed indicate that a full side of a bottle could be embossed
