• Imperial Model 457 Antique Coffee Mill / Grinder USA-made by the Arcade Manufacturing Co., Freeport,  IL,
• In later years this company went on to produce quite the line of collectible cast-iron banks and toys
• The base and drawer appear to be crafted of pine using fingerjoint construction; the drawer has a metal knob
• Grinding mechanism and handle cast iron;  the handle has a wooden knob; turns well
• Overall, approximately 10 inches high (to the top of the handle knob); cabinet base approx. 6" X 6" , 5-1/8" high
• Hopper cover embossed with an Eagle and IMPERIAL
• About half of the original label remains; appears that patent dates from 1888 and 1889 are referenced
• Good used condition, age and use consistent; finish worn with gouges, paint chips etc. etc.
